R. Kenner Amos, also of High Point. A reception followed. The bride is a senior at Mercer University in Macon and was presented at the High Point and State Debutante Balls in 1975. The bridegroom, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Carl Cecil Kitchens of Macon, is also a senior at Mercer. He served in the Marine Corps and holds a Purple Heart. The couple will live in Macon. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lynda Kyle Amos of High Point.

Jude Kitchens was ring bearer. Walter Cannon of Macon was best man. Green-Carter LEXINGTON-Pauline Bernhardt Green was married Friday at her home to Harry Clifton Carter of Banking Street, Greensboro. A reception followed the ceremony which was attended by families of the bridal couple. The bride, widow of Benjamin Franklin Green is daughter of the late Mr.

and Mrs. Paul McRae Bernhardt. She is a graduate of St. Mary's Junior College in Raleigh and the University of North Carolina. The bridegroom, widower of Mary-Alice Coyle Carter, is a former executive of J.

P. Stevens Co. He and his brother, the late W. J. Carter, founded Carter Fabrics which later merged with J.

P. Stevens. The bridegroom retired as vice president, chairman of the executive committee and a member of the board of directors of Stevens. He now owns and operates Sharpe-Carter Corp. of which he is president.

Carter is on the board of directors of Fellowship Hall in Greensboro and the board of advisors at Campbell College, Buies Creek, where he was instrumental in building Carter Gymnasium. Carter Stadium at N. C. State University at Raleigh is named for the bridegroom and his brother. The couple will maintain residences in both Lexington and Greensboro.

Page-Follin Mrs. Dolores Dyke Page of WinstonSalem and Marion Geddings Follin III of Sunset Drive were married Saturday in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Afterward the bride's mother, Mrs. John W. Dyke of Richmond, received in Greensboro Country Club.

The bride is also the daughter of the late Mr. Dyke and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion G. Follin of Wentworth Drive.

The bride was graduated from UNCGreensboro and is a third year law student at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. The bridegroom was graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and Yale Law School in New Haven, Conn. He is a member of the law firm of Smith, Patterson, Follin, Curtis and James and is serving his second term on the Greensboro City Council. The couple will live here. Mrs.

The bride attended Salem College in Winston-Salem and graduated from UNC-Greensboro School of Nursing, where she was a Junior Scholar in 1975 and chosen an Outstanding Senior. The bridegroom is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar, dean's list student and joined Phi Eta'S Sigma honorary society. He was selected as a research assistant by the Swiss Institute for Nuclear Research in Villagen, Switzerland, in 1976, and will enter Harvard University in Cambridge, in the fall on a University Fellowship to begin his doctoral studies.
