Walt Disney World is revamping its Genie+ service, effective July 24, 2024. The service will be rebranded: Disney Genie+ will become the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and individual Lightning Lane entries will be called Lightning Lane Single Pass. Featured attractions on the Single Pass not included in the Multi Pass are TRON Lightcycle/Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, and AVATAR Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom

Advanced Planning Options

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels can book their Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before their visit for their entire stay, up to 14 days. Other guests can book up to 3 days in advance. This advance planning window helps guests secure must-do experiences while considering dining reservations and other plans.

Easier Purchasing and Managing Passes

The updated My Disney Experience app will streamline the purchase and planning process, enabling guests to buy both Multi and Single Passes in a single transaction.
